The location is much better than expected, with easy access to public transportation and close proximity to the city center. the staff is friendly and the rooms are clean and functional, with key card access for added security. the shared showering and bathroom facilities are also clean and private.
The immediate area around the hotel could be intimidating at night, with undesirables hanging around.

The area was very dodgy and i didnt feel that safe. It was also very hot in the room with no a/c but we couldn't open the window because of the noise all day and night

The staff at this hotel were friendly and accommodating, providing excellent service throughout our stay. The rooms were well-equipped with essential amenities, such as a fridge and microwave. the location of the hotel was fantastic, situated in a bustling area with easy access to transportation and nearby attractions.
The surrounding neighborhood left much to be desired. There was a noticeable presence of homeless individuals, which made us feel uncomfortable and unsafe.

The hotel looks pretty poor, and it is actually but at least it is clean, especially for what concerns the bathrooms. You don't get much space in the room, especially the double room bed would never fit two normal adults. Strange guys hang around both inside the hotel and outside, they seem to live there, but they're not annoying at all. Just freakish. Breakfast is pretty small and you don't have a place to eat it except your room; the coffee is ok, the pastry could be better! You just get one a day, anyway, not anything more.

The value for money at this hotel was great, and the room was just what we needed - small but comfortable with clean beds. The location was convenient, especially for GDC, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The breakfast experience could have been improved with a wider variety of options available.

I had very friendly and helpful service from all of the staff during my stay, was most impressed by the owner who is always visible and hands on in the running of his Hotel/Hostel, the hotel is well managed and I found it to be neat, tidy, clean and well kept
I was woken up a few times by new arriving guests who had not managed to figure out how to open the double locks of the bedroom doors, this was a constant problem and annoyance during my stay. the blinds in the bedrooms can be of a better quality as they are see through and rather flimsy, The bathrooms should be kept clean through out the day and not only cleaned once a day (as I think they are) as there is a high volume of people using them all the time. The carpet in my room could do with a shampoo clean. A suggestion is to also maybe have a separate shoe mat placed next to door inside the bedrooms for shoes, as there is a lot of dirt and grime being walked off the streets into the Hotel, I travel a lot so I get to see these small details .

Ideal location str.near 6th and Market str. 2 blocks from Folsom str. Great breakfast buffet
The common bathrooms can be an annoyance with n (noisy doors closing and opening) and/or if you have to wait for one shower available when everyone gets ups or gets really to go out for dinner. Many homeless people around but that`s everywhere in this neighborhood Civic Center and Tenderloin.
